Level 4
I am addicted to endurance sports, I practice very regularly at a sustained level.

Technical Levels:
Level 1 (discovery)
I've never ski toured or skied off-piste. Red runs don't scare me. I can ski for several hours. I can make my turns with my skis parallel, but I'm still a little apprehensive about the speed. The various skids are under control.
Level 2 (initiated)
I have already practiced ski touring and/or off-piste skiing. I am comfortable on all black runs. My turns are parallel. My speed is controlled on slopes with an incline of 30/35°. I am good at skidding on these same slopes and sometimes venture into moguls and forests.
Level 3 (confirmed)
I frequently go ski touring or off-piste skiing (more than 10 days of skiing/year).
Goes anywhere with the means at hand up to 40° of inclination. Beyond that, the success of the turn can become uncertain in complicated snow. Good technical skills that will need to be further developed in various snow/slopes. Total mastery of skidding downhill and conversions uphill in all situations.
Niveau 4 (expert)
I regularly practice off-piste or cross-country skiing (more than 25 days/year). I can go anywhere without a problem in all types of snow and all situations. I manage my stress in risky situations without my technique suffering. I have complete control over skidding on the descent and conversions on the ascent in all situations.
